I Watched This Cartoon On a Mac

Please note: Mac VS PC rigmarole has passed beyond the realm of fucking annoying into something this universe cannot comprehend. And you know Vista was rushed to compete with Mac OS X Tiger, so when Apple came out with Mac OS X Leopard which has better "technological operations" than Windows, they were all like "FUCK!!!"

RobertClock responds:

its just a joke to make fun of the Mac VS PC commercials

SnakeClock Enjoyed That Very Much

A clever little story, charming art despite its craptacularity, and it's decently narrated.

I shall write up the text of this story and submit it as your Just So Story. Excellent work!

CelticKnot responds:

I already submitted it ^_^

That Was So Magical that My Eyes are Bleeding

I mean... this... and that... and those things there... they're just... holy.

PirateClock responds:

:=D

Clocks Are Like Internet Muppets

Ah, memories of the Muppets. What a delightful rendition of such an amusing tune.

And I rated you highly on interactivity because the upside-down preloader amused me.

AlbinoClock responds:

Although I never thought of it that way, yes, yes they are.

BUGGER HELL!

I was going to do a Flash video of "Albuquerque"! You beat me to it! I guess I wasn't quick enough on the draw...

Anyways, enough about that. This was a lovely movie. Although the designs and artwork were very simplistic, they had a real sense of style to them and they were pleasing to the eye. The action sometimes seems a little subdued considering how manic Albuquerque is, but there were some big scenes spotted throughout the movie, especially towards the end.

After seeing this movie, I think my version of "Albuquerque" would probably go a different way. I'm planning to make mine much more dynamic and polished, laden with all sorts of visual splendor and the like. Your movie has a much more cartoonish, fun approach to Albuquerque than mine, and I think they could do well together.

Taking on "Albuquerque" for a music video is no small undertaking, though. Much time and preparation will be needed before your Albuquerque will have a companion.

RWappin responds:

Okay, but if your movie upstages mine, I might be forced to make Albuquerque: THE REMAKE.

It's Going Somewhere...

It looks like what you have is pretty good so far. The story sounds interesting, the dialogue is well-written, the art is decet.

However, I had serious problems with the sound. It's extremely bad quality. Sometimes it's hard to hear what the characters are saying, and the music is so badly compressed that it hurts my ears. You'd be best to up your sound quality next time.

JakeX responds:

i know, i was going to do something with the sound but....it didnt work, so yeah thats my main objective now lol
Thanks again :D

You're Missing the Point

Yes, most Clocks are just a Clock slapped onto a random thing, but that's not what makes them so clever. It's their funny and inventive Flash movies that make them so clever. The Clock slapped onto a thing is just an identity for them.

Pow, bitch, and so on and so forth.

Rabbitking responds:

acually i love clocks. YOUR MISSING THE POINT. its clockday and we make something about clocks right? Pow bitch back to you my good freind.

I'm Glad You Made It After All.

You said on your Clockspace that you probably wouldn't finish this movie. All I can say is thank heavens you did!

Incredible animation, both sprite and non-sprite ('specially the Rejected dance), and the movie's soundtrack is top-notch. The palette is so bright and colourful that it's a joy to look at. The Megaman segment kind of lulls, but it's still enjoyable.

Another great achievement. The Clock Crew is back on its way!

RupeeClock responds:

This is mostly seperate from the Clockcrew, you know.

That Kicked Ass.

Would have been nice if the song was a better-quality stream, but really I could care less.

Anything I have to say doesn't matter. Go watch the movie.

ZekeySpaceyLizard responds:

Beleive me, I tried upping the sound quality.

That Was More Awesome Than the Song in the Movie!

Time spent reading this is time spent not watching this movie, so I'll be quick.

Expert pseudo-3D animation, cute but dazzling art style, spectacular images, great sense of flow, and a hilarious song to boot.

I wonder what a music video made to the reprise song at the end of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" would look like. Something to consider...

AntonyC responds:

Heh... I was actually thinking the same thing, but decided 6meg was large enough (I'm trying to be kind to the Dial-uppers). Whenever I hear that version I always come up with a strange image of Bill Nighy (Slarty Bartfast from the film) singing while stoned, ala his opening song from 'Love Actually'.
